I recently designed this logo for a local restaurant.  The Phoenix Fire Grill and Bar will be opening soon in Canfield. I’m looking forward to the fire grilled pizza.

The XBOX and game that I bought from Game ON! in Salem.

I went looking for a used game console and I ended up getting an old XBOX from Game On in Salem.

They were very helpful and I needed it. I don’t know much about gaming these days. I ended up getting a game called Project Gotham for only a dollar to go with it. Tons of fun for almost no money!

The Victory Bell at Reilly Stadium may soon be moved to the other side of the field. That would be a big change!

The Salem Preservation Society is getting a project together to rebuild the Reilly wall and do a few other things such as the bell move. Check out the Reilly Wall Facebook Page.

A single panel of my new comic strip.

Here is a single panel of my new comic in development. These are two main characters of the comic strip interacting over a donut. Full, three panel dalies will be the norm.

I’m still not sure I like the coloring of the duck. He looks like a mallard but I have decided that he is a Rhone duck. I think the ring around his neck should probably be white. You can see an earlier version of the duck in the header image of this website.

I am experimenting with oil paints and Windsor & Newton’s Liquin as a fast drying medium.

My oil paintings are taking too long to dry but using alkyd paints might dry too fast. This seems like a happy medium. Get it?

Here is a sketch of a new comic strip in development. Two main characters, a duck and a bunny, are named Samuel and Isaak.

The Salem Chamber hosted a get together for all Salem organizations and I was fortunate enough to get a chance to speak. I gave a demonstration of entering events on SalemOhio.com, our city’s community website.

We had some fun at the Salem Christmas Open House event. I tried the hot chocolate at Friends Roastery and it was awesome.

It’s calendar drawing time again. Every year I draw a house or two or three for the Community Calendar in Salem. This year I did a drawing of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. I was going to hide a duck or something in the fine lines of the bushes but I ran out of time.
